 Mae yna nifer o gweithgareddau i wneud yn Castell-Nedd.  I dechrau mae yna canolfan hamdden gyda pwll nofio gyda sleid, hefyd mewn ti fewn mae yna cyrtiau badminton a campfa fitrwydd.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                   There are lots of different activities to do in Neath. To start there is a leisure center with a swimming pool with a slide, also inside there are badminton courts, squash and a fitness gym.

Hefyd yn Castell Nedd mae yna lle i chi cadw mewn cysylltiad gyda natur. Enw'r lle yna yw'r Gnoll.  Mae'r Gnoll yn parc gwledig fawr iawn gyda nifer gyda llawer o gyfleoedd am teithiau cerdded, beicio a cherdded golygfeydd gwych. Mae yna cafi a siop. Hefyd mae yna dau parciau gwych. Un ar gyfer plant ifanc a un ar gyfer plant yn henach. Mae gan yr Gnoll hanes diddorol.

Also in Neath there is a place for you to keep in touch with nature. The name of the place is the Gnoll. The Gnoll is a  country park with lots of opportunities for walking, cycling and great views. There is a cafe and shop. There are also two parks. One for young children and one for older children. The Gnoll also has a very interesting history

Ogystal a hynny mae yna llyfrgell eitha fawr gyda rhan plant ifanc, ble mae nhw'n adrodd streion a cael cwisiau. Hefyd rydych yn gallu benthyg llyfrau, filmiau a cerddoriaeth. Hefyd mae yna ystafell gyda nifer fawr o cyfrifiaduron i pobl mynd ar yr we, os oes angen.  Yn yr llyfrgell mae yna ardal i pobl ymlacio gan darllen yr papur dyddiol. Mae'r llyfrgell darn pwysig o ein cymuned ble gallwch hysbysebu digwyddiad fel sioeau, bore coffi, ffair siopau, grwpiau cefnogi a nifer o weithgareddau eraill. Mae'r llyfrgell yn rhan pwysig o ein ardal. Os fydd yr llywodraeth yn cau'r llyfrgell i lawr fydd en golled fawr i ni.

 As well  as  that there is quite a large library with a part for young children, where they do storytelling and quizzes. Also you can borrow books, films and CDs. There is also a room with a large number of computers for people to use the web, if necessary. In the library there is an area for people to relax by reading the daily newspaper. The library is important to our community as you can advertise events like shows, coffee mornings, jumble sales, support groups and many other activities. The library is an important part of our area. If the government shut the library down it would be a great loss to our community.

 Adeilad pwysig mewn Castell-Nedd ar gyfer digwyddiadau cymunedol yw yr neuadd Gwyn. Yn anffodus aeth tân ddinistrio llawer o'r adeilad yn Mai 2008. Mae gwaith  yn cael ei wneud ar yr adeilad a gobeithio y bydd yn cael ei ddefnyddio ar gyfer sioeau a digwyddiadau cymunedol unwaith eto. Yn y cyfamser mae'r eglwys hardd Dewi Sant wedi gadael nifer o ddigwyddiadau yn digwydd yno.

An important building in Neath for community events is the Gwyn hall. Sadly a fire destroyed much of the building in May 2008. Restoration work is being carried out on the building and hopefully it will once more be used for shows, entertainment and community events. Meanwhile the beautiful Saint Davids church has allowed many events to take place there. 

Peth arall sy'n dod a fy gymuned at ei gilydd yw yr tîm rygbi. Mae'r tîm yn cael ei alw'n Castell-Nedd. Pan fydd Castell-nedd yn chwarae gemau cartref mae'r stondinau yn lenwi gyda phobl o bob oed i gefnogi eu tîm. Mae tîm rygbi Castell-Nedd yn dyddio nôl pan oedd yr gem gofnodwyd wedi cymryd lle yn erbyn Abertawe yn 1871/72. Erbyn heddiw mae'r tim Castell-Nedd yn wneud yn dda iawn gan fod nhw mewn safle ail. Mae  llawer o ser wedi bod yn tim Castell-Nedd ac wedi mynd i chwarae i ei wlad.  e.e James Hook a Shane Williams. Dyma cyswllt at ei wefan. http://www.neathrugby.co.uk

Another thing that brings my community together is the rugby team. The team is called neath or the welsh all blacks. When Neath have home games the stands fill up with people of all ages to support their team. Neath's rugby team origins back to 1871/72 when the first recorded match took place against Swansea. So far Neath is doing very well in rugby and currently second in the tabl. There have been many stars who have passed through the Neath team and have gone on to play international rugby e.g. James Hook and Shane Williams.
